Where Do Those EXIT SIGNS Come From?

Have you ever wondered who makes or distributes all those ENTRANCE and EXIT SIGNS that you see everywhere? There are so many of them, it’s easy to not think about them at all until you need one. That’s when the question becomes important.

When you really need an exit sign, you begin to notice that there is an art and science behind the seemingly bland signs. Some of them do their job better than others because they are more noticeable or somehow command more respect. The fact is, a lot more thought and design goes into the manufacturing of these signs than meets the eye.

There is a website called ExitSigns that specializes in all kinds of architectural safety lighting, including, but not limited to exit signs. Visiting this site is a real education and the range of signs they have is incredible. They have everything from “just plain” signs to illuminated overhead signs to outdoor and wet location signs. And that’s just for starters.

There are many different styles of signs, including clear panel, “classy” and durable steel signs for areas where the sign may be exposed to bumps and abuse. In addition, ExitSigns sells batteries for signs, emergency lights and even Braille signs. It really is your one stop source for all kinds of signs. Now you know where all those exit signs come from!

Woah, count me in! Sometimes It’s a turnoff to see a beautiful store ruined with a generic “Come in, We’re open” sign or the likes of it. Signs should also blend in with the design of the store.
