A wedding dress should be nice and fancy but people make too much of a big deal out of it. I borrowed a really nice one and had it altered to fit me better. It was beautiful and I didn’t have to spend thousands of dollars.

Never really understood all the to-do over the wedding dress. The whole wedding day is such a whirlwind that it is hard to pay attention to the tiny details. My wife could have been wearing shorts and tanktop and I was so overwhelmed by everything I wouldn’t have even noticed.

A wedding is a special time in a woman’s life and the wedding dress is very important to the bride. It’s her day and she wants to be beautiful and admired. I prefer the white color and would stick with the traditional styles. Don’t like all those modern choices like a mini dress or a dress decorate with feathers???? (are you suppose to be a bride or a bird?, lol).

I always thought that girls fuzz too much on wedding dresses. Us men just pick up the tuxedo and put them on without any ado. I guess it takes a woman to understand why wedding dress details mean so much to them.

It is definitely smart to shop around for wedding dresses, both online and offline. There’s a lot to choose from out there.

I would say shop around and buy from a vendor based on word of mouth recommendations and number of services provided. Does the vendor, online or brick or morter, have a good reputation not only for point of sale, but in follow up, alterations and any other number of servcies and conveniences a bride might appreciate prior to the wedding.

My wife bought a decent evening dress off-the-rack and saved us a load of cash! Just a thought…
