Slides to CD?
Ages ago I wanted to transfer some holiday pictures fromes slides to a digital format. I even bought myself a scanner that would supposedly handle the job - but the pictures turned out really badly and I was left wondering if I would be left watching slide shows, or if there was another method of slide transfer I’d overlooked. Anyway, I came across a website today that really seems to address my problem. One of their core services includes transferring Slides to CD. They can transfer most slide formats, including my 35mm slides to DVD. The site is called “Vision Conversion Experts” and they can convert almost anything onto DVD for you.
Most people who are into photography know that 35mm slides really do far exceed the quality of regular photographic prints. Now, with The Vision Conversion Experts expertise in slide handling, you can actually see it. Their Platinum process scans each individual 35mm slide at 4000 DPI (Dots Per Inch) and includes a manual color, contrast, grain and scratch restoration in addition to crop and rotation as needed. This is an amazing process and really is a great way to preserve the pictures you have on slides, firstly making them easier to access, but also to keep them for posterity in a format that will not degrade and is not as fragile as the original slides are.
So if you have sildes that need to be converted, they are a great place to start!
