You may have noticed that there are sponsored posts on this blog.. this actually makes it possible for me to continue blogging and pay for things like me domain name and hosting and images etc. that go with the blog.

If you own a blog yourself, you might consider writing sponsored posts, i.e. get paid for blogging, on your own blog as a source of income, or at least something to cover the costs associated with running a blog yourself.

www.smorty.com is one of the companies that I do blogging for.  Essentially Smorty acts as a broker between myself and the advertisers who want to advertise through bloggers.  The smorty system lists all of the work they have going for me, and usually I get paid around $6 a post, although this does vary on the advertiser! 

I can knock these posts over on my lunch hour, and with the exchange rate going on over here.. that pays for my lunch!  Its great for advertisers too, who can get the word out there and advertise on blogs.

If you are running a blog, this kind of deal may appeal to you.. there’s really no better way to support your passion than to get paid to blog!
