If you have been reading thw blog for a while - you will notice that I do a few sponsored posts.  These posts help pay for the hosting of this blog, the domain name, and some of my medical expenses. 

One of the sites that I use regularly is www.sponsoredreviews.com.  Actually this is one of my favorites, for many reasons, not the least being that they have a great one page article called 27+1 Tips for Building and Maintaining a Blog Audience.

All of the tips are great - and a few of them I have not already go going on this blog - but I plan to in the near future!

Technorati tags are something in particular that I wouldn’t mind getting going on my blogs.  They are something that the article mentions - something I definitely need to look into.  I think I really want to find a plug in for wordpress that does it semi-automatically, that would be best, I think.  I’m not good at doing the coding stuff at the bottom to get the link in!

If you are a blogger: sponsoredreviews.com is a great source of revenue for your blog.  The article even suggests using the service to get other bloggers to talk about you! The only two things that I think they could mention, are nofollow tags and “related posts”.  I still need to implement the removal of the nofollow tags on my blog myself!  I’m going to do this to encourage other bloggers to leave comments on my blog.  The other thing that they haven’t mentioned is to do with SEO.. at the bottom of each of my posts, there is a section for “related posts”.  This helps keep readers on your blog longer because they can access posts that are on a similar topic easily that way.  There is a wordpress plugin that adds the related posts in there, very easy to install!

If you are looking for exposure for any type of website, sponsored reviews are the way to go - kill two birds with one stone and increase your pagerank and traffic at the same time!
