How to find individual power through religion and beliefs

When it comes to individual power, you have the support of others, your responsibilities, and your moral or religious beliefs. Everyone thinks that religion is what causes so much. People think that you don’t need to have a religion anymore, but the truth is, that you get your morals and ethics from your beliefs. You find your individual power through your religion. Without religion, we would have no right and wrong. We wouldn’t have any clue to what to do when a serious situation arises. Religion is what guides us through life. It is the basis of society. So how do you find the power through religion?

The answer simple: we find individual power through religion and prayer. When it comes to dealing with matters of death and disease, many people will turn to religion to help them through and understand. Holding on to a high divinity makes everyone feel better. They find strength from knowing that it is part of a plan. They find strength through acceptance. Religions helps a person accept their fate. Not only will comfort you in your time of need, but religion will also comfort those who love you.

When you pray to God sometimes you don’t get an answer back, but when you need the strength to make it, you find an answer. When you pray for strength, you can feel someone holding you. It is the spirit inside of you that is comforted and suddenly you feel like a weight has been lifted.

Have you ever read the poem known as Footprints?  It says that in good times, there were two sets of footprints. Meaning, in good times God walked beside you. But then the man noticed that in bad times, there was only one set. It angered the man to think that he was alone through all the bad times, but the answer God gave him was that He carried him through the rough times. When you use your religion to help you through the bad times, you can truly believe that God helps you through.

Now what about those who aren’t Christian based religions?  Religion is different to everyone, but it all has the same job. Your religion will help you through the bad times and help guide you to righteousness when it comes to the good times. It will help you carry on and find strength and support. If you’re Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim, or believe in the Greek or Roman gods, you still focus on a higher power to show you the path. Your religion helps you by supporting you in your time of need. Knowing that you are supported will fill you with strength. They are so many religions in the world, but they are tend to support you through the bad and to help guide you to righteousness. It doesn’t matter what God you pray to, as long as you have something to believe in.

For those who don’t have anything to believe in, there are very unfortunate. The beliefs of religion are the basis of moral and ethical standards that we have. For those who don’t believe in anything, they don’t have anyone or anything carrying them through the hard times. They have nothing to lean on. They are lost, because, they have to find it on their own. Finding your inner strength is hard, but it’s harder when you have nothing pushing you. Religion helps push you to get through things and it helps relieve your pain. You have something to comfort you when bad times happen. There’s a reason for everything and believing that it is a higher act of Glory relieves some of the “what if’s”.
