We are going to the UK again!
Well the trip from work to California has been put off until early June. This really is a bummer because my Hubby and I were thinking of flying him over too - and then we were going to travel the coast road between San Diego and Los Angeles. Unfortunately this is close to the Australian end of financial year - and this means that as an accountant, he has to stay home and work!! I’m thinking of taking the trip alone, maybe I can get one of my “webfriends” to come with me.. we could have a girly road trip LOLOL!!!
The other exciting news is that we are not going to go to the UK every second year, it will be every year! In October, I’m told. Hopefully we can get better organised and stay in a better hotel than last time. It was right next to a major road and was NOISY! I’m looking forward to staying in a nice London hotel.. not a noisy dive. Maybe if my boss had used a site like http://www.easytobook.com/en/london-hotels/ we would have been better off and I would have been able to sleep! (I’m a light sleeper :( ) I like the look of the Allandale Hotel. It has to be good because my favorite winery here in Australia is also called the Allandale!
The site is great - all you need to know about each hotel in London. Another one that caught my eye is the Best Western Corona.. you can’t go wrong with a hotel named after a beer!! Booking, is as the website name suggests, very easy with pricing and room availability right there on the site, as well as distances and attractions around the hotels.
I can’t wait!
