I’m really sad actually because now she needs to go back to work and cannot continue financing the writing of it.

I really hope she cang et to finish it.  I’ve always wanted to be an author too, although I have never reached the point she has reached with hers.  (She has a deal – she just has to finish writing!)  I’m about a third of a way through a novel I have been writing.  It really is the details that get me – I’m OK at outlining the plot, what happens next, etc but the details.. I’m not so good at.

I remember when I first got a job at a large software company and I had to write a specification and outline of how a particular piece of software was to work.  In the end I just hired some editing services to help me out with it!  I need to focus on what I did there because in general I don’t bring in a third party fast enough to help me.  (I’ve been sick 2 weeks and only just gotten to the doctor!  eek!!)  It’s something I need to get better at.. it would probably be good for me to use something about that instance as a positive affirmation to try to get into that mindset again!
