Author: A call from a friend from the college course that I took last year.
Hopefully this year I can get back into it and get some certification. I’m way behind in some courses, so I’ve taken a year off to catch up. It really was a great course and I really miss it.
If I end up practicing, I’ve got thoughts of getting out my old lab coat to make myself look professional!! The only problem is that the darned thing is covered in holes from Chemistry classes, and even some blood and green stuff from biology! Given we work with essential oils and essences, it could get messy working with folks using these therapies. I’m sure I won’t need to go the whole 9 yards and get Nursing Scrubs, although these do come in the most fetching florals these days!
I’ve managed to pick myself up a $30 manequin with all of the acupuncture points on her, and a head with all of the acupuncture points and meridians, so I guess my office will look quite medical before I’m finished!
