Go for a visit..
and decide to stay.
There are lots of places I’d like to live after visiting them on holiday. La Jolla is one of those places.Â
Whether or not the name La Jolla stems from the Spanish term for jewel, La Joya, everybody who holidays or settles in this well-off, beachfront wonderland enthusiastically agrees it is a treasure. A number of the most beautiful beaches in the country can be located here, from the grand cliffs at Black’s to the sunset rocks covered with sea lions at the Cove. Downtown, La Jolla is a Mediterranean-like village of stunning boutiques, cafes, award-winning eateries, and art galleries tempting the area’s prosperous residents and visitors alike.
Of interest to those considering relocating - massive hotels, the University Town Center Mall, condo developments, and biomedic business parks look over rugged canyons and stands of eucalyptus trees inland from the coast. One of the top universities in the country, UCSD, has made La Jolla its home, and provides employment to many bioengineers, chemists, physicians, and others in scientific employment.
La Jolla real estate is booming, with the above mentioned developments and new land releases. So if you are considering moving.. now would be a great time!
