Now I’ve decided to cook more I’ve realised that my kitchen really isn’t decked out the way I would like it to be.  When my husband moved in, we tried to combine all of our stuff but it really didn’t work – we just had too much and most of it was junk.  his ex left him with all the cheap stuff and I’d only ever bought cheap stuff as flatmates are notorious for ruining nice things.  Like using metal utensils on my teflon pans. 

Anyway we have now bought ourselves a really great frypan, which has made cooking so much easier!  scalesetc.com have some really nice, well priced scales listed at the moment.. I could do with a good set of Kitchen Scales as up until now I’ve basically been guessing how much of each ingredient to put into my dishes, which may account for some of the.. um.. “interesting” results.

They also have some really cool looking bathroom scales that would look much better in my bathroom than my dinky white standard ones!
