What I SHOULD have got my husband for..

Christmas.

I bought my hubby a new faring for his pocketbike.  Unfortunately my dad was able to fix the old one and so he doesnt really need the new one.. although it is this great red and yellow colour which he likes.. it’s a bit superfluous.

Anyway… he has just got himself a new job, and to fit him out properly (it’s at a better rate than his last job, so he needs to look much more professional!) I should have been encouraging him with some new office clothing.

Now I really am a snob when it comes to ties.  I used to drive my ex nuts insisting that he only wear WOVEN not PRINTED ties.  Belisi.com has the best ties, by far, on offer.  They also use some of the proceeds to help people (my other passion) to fight poverty and do medical research.  So I guess my concience is salved at least to a certain extent!  Belisi’s motto is “luxury with meaning”.  I like it!!!

The interesting thing about Peter Belisi, is that he started wearing a different tie each day and angled his dress towards to well-heeled folks he was trying to sell to.  I’m really a believer in “fake it till you make it” and it’s good to see that motto work in real life.

“Belisi unites the luxury and prestige of Palm Beach with Italian beauty and sophistication. Inside Belisi we cultivate a passion for exquisite materials and skilled craftsmanship. Each dramatic detail, represents our unwavering quest to fashion products of truly enduring value.” – Peter Belisi

Maybe I will just have to wait until his birthday to grace him with a Belisi tie.  (In the meantime.. they have a great range of handbags too…  ;) )
