having just visited the UK and Ireland, I’m really keen to get back there, and apparently I will get the opportunity to return in a little less than 2 years!  woohoo!

Anyways, I found this great site that has all of this info on it about hotels in London.  Now the place we stayed last time was good while the conference was on, but for the few days afterwards my boss had us stay in this really dingy noisy dive near the River Thames.  It was horrible!  I think if we had known about this site when we were looking for a hotel, we would have found something much nicer, even tho’ it would have been at short notice.  (my boss had thought she had booked us in to continue on at the fancy place, but the booking got “lost”.) sigh.

The site is www.londonnights.com..  I think we paid £89.00 for our horrible rooms, and I’m feeling ripped off just looking at the gorgeous Hotel of the Month which we could have stayed at – the Shaftsbury Hyde Park Paddington, where the rooms are an astonishing £49.00 and look absolutely delightful!!  This site is definitely the place to go for last minute discount London Hotel Rooms.

We could have stayed on a Yacht Hotel for the price we paid for the nasty rooms we stayed at!

I really need to send this to my boss so we don’t end up in the same dive the next time around.  This London Hotel site should solve the problem, I just hope it doesn’t make her feel too bad about last time!
