Our Christmas Tree..
Has small bells on it. You know the kind - they are the ones that are totally enclosed and have a small ball inside them.
We have a bunch of these on our tree this year, and we have a tiny tree.. a little less than waist height, so the bottom bells are only about 8″ off the ground.Â
Anyway, our bunny has taken to ringing the bells. He loves to go under the tree and snuffle at the bells and make them ring. When he has free run of the apartment, he will go and ding and tinkle them every half and hour or so!! it’s a lovely tinkling sound - very Christmassy. I’ve been thinking of getting the tree down ASAP this year while I’m still on holiday and have the time to do it, but I really don’t want to as he is having such fun with it.
Maybe next year I could tie little treats on the tree for him, small pieces of carrot and dried fruit that I know he loves. http://happy-holiday.housenstyle.com/2006/12/12/christmas-tree-themes/ mention a number of types of themes.. I bet they haven’t heard of a rabbit-treat themed Christmas tree!!
